Joshua was the leader in the Battle of Jericho, the first battle of the Israelites’ conquest of Canaan. His troops marched around the city for seven days, then blew their rams’ horns so that the walls collapsed (Joshua 6:1-27). He is shown here with a sword and a ram’s horn.
